• Start feeding rams 8 weeks from tupping with 18% CP concentrate to boost their fertility; check body and reproductive condition. If in Heptavac P system, check that the booster has been given.

• Plan replacement ewe/ram purchases. Check bloodlines to confirm ewes and rams are compatible.

• If buying in stock, quarantine for at least 3 weeks as part of a strict health and biosecurity plan. The quarantine period will allow for monitoring and if necessary, treatment.
